It is through a lens of cohesion and inclusion that we can (repeatedly) build stronger relationships between people, and create a sense of belonging as a valued part of a supportive community.
The on-going work seeks to help people to overcome social exclusion and isolation by providing a safe place, an open door, and a holistic approach to address numerous barriers to community integration (lack of understanding of the local culture, lack of Spanish language skills; discrimination, racism and prejudice; community segregation; etc.). To this effect, we look at the many different ways we can improve levels of inclusion focussing primarily on education, essential skills and employability; and health and wellbeing for:
- Unaccompanied foreign minors, refugees and migrants at risk
- Elderly people in particularly vulnerable situations
