Hey, there! I’m Justin!

When I was 18, I fled the war in my country, Guinea-Bissau. That’s when my migratory journey started. Alone, with hardly any resources but with #determination, I began a journey full of challenges that forged the person I am today. 

After months of traveling, I arrived in Portugal. I lived there for 4 years, facing the spectres associated to my undocumented presence. Later I arrived in Spain, where I was finally able to regularise my status, access dignified living conditions, and build a beautiful family.

Now I try to help people like “my younger me” with @ailusiones. At the non-profit, I help at-risk youth through physical training and mentoring, and that makes me happy.
