After the success of the first edition of the project Building My Future (“Construyendo Mi Futuro” in spanish) and after a two-year break forced by the context of the pandemic that we have suffered, we are back with a new edition of the project to continue with the work line that began in 2019.
We recall that the main scope of the Building My Future project consists of the training and integration of unaccompanied minors at risk of social exclusion in the city of Madrid.
To this end, the project is made up of the following activities:
In this second edition we have increased the number of beneficiaries to 40 minors and the duration of the project to 5 months (from January to June 2022, both months inclusive).
One of the novelties this year is that a small group of translators-interpreters has been incorporated to the project to facilitate communication with minors who are totally unaware of the Spanish language.
The Building My Future project is financed by the Government Area of the Deputy Mayor’s Office of the Madrid City Council within the program of “Development of activities aimed at children and young people as well as the improvement of coexistence and community development through the promotion of participation and youth associationism”.
