According to the World Health Organization, cancer constitutes one of the primary causes of mortality among children and adolescents. In Spain, the journey of a child battling cancer and their families often means spending months, and sometimes even years, within the confines of a hospital room.
In line with our commitment to nurturing positive youth development and community well-being, we have recently donated a collection of children’s books to Hospital Niño Jesús, a Madrid-based healthcare facility exclusively dedicated to pediatric care.
The book donation was directed entirely to the hospital’s Oncology Unit, which provides care to over a hundred young patients each year. Our collaboration with Sergio Luz, the stories’ author, was driven by the shared aim of nurturing young minds and sparking their imaginations in the midst of challenging times.
